PONTIAC

Pontiac started off good for me.  I nailed the holeshot in my day qualifier and ran away with it.  I always like to get the ball rolling with a good race early and then my weekend seems to go better for me afterwards.  In my heat race I got a decent start and worked my way to fourth place.  I passed John Dowd and Ryan Clark on the last lap in the same section.  Personally it was a good race and had me psych for the main event.  In the main I got a mid pace start in 11th place.  On the third or fourth lap Mike Brown decided to ram in to me and take us both out.  After I got going I was in 18th place.  I made it back to tenth and then faded to 12th.  It wasn't a good main but I rode ok.

DALLAS

Simply put Dallas was a huge disappointment for me!  In the day qualifier I got a decent start and finished up in fourth.  In the heat race I started out 12 and made it all the way to 5th.  It was a good heat race and I was going fast which typically means I follow up with a good ride in the main event.  In the main I started in 10th and passed into 7th.  I ran around there until the 13th lap and then fell over all by myself.  I’m quite upset at myself for this and I’m going to really buckle down and train harder.  I want to prove to myself that I can make a whole moto riding strong without any silly mistakes.   I know that time will be soon.
