Kevin Johnson Out of Action Until 125cc East Coast Series

Well, this weekend
did not turn out that as I hoped. I rode pretty well on Friday during
practice as I was running good lap times and having fun! On Saturday, in
the first practice, I screwed up on a rhythm section and crashed. I separated
my collarbone from my sternum. I will be out for about three to four
weeks. The doctors say that it is an unusual break, but it will heal fast
because it is in the growth plate.
I hope to be back by San Diego Supercross, but that might not happen. I
am still top ten in 125 West Coast points right now even though I did not get
to race this weekend. I am sure by the time 125 East Coast Series starts,
I will no longer be in the top ten overall in the 125 West Coast points.
If a rider
is not top ten in overall 125 Supercross Series points he can switch to the
other Coast. I am now planning on racing the East Coast in the 125 class.
If I heal quickly, I will get back in the top ten in West points. I feel
really good on the bike and will be riding a stationary bicycle to stay in
shape.
See you later.
