Kevin Johnson Not Happy With Houston Results

Houston, Texas was a race I have to put behind me!  I ran fast in all my practices and was excited to do well.  I have been training hard and think that my stamina is getting finally pretty good.  In my day qualifier, I finished second behind Ivan Tedesco of Yamaha of Troy.  Ivan ended up getting second in the 125 Main. In the day qualifier, I ran the fastest lap time of anyone, which I obviously was pumped about.

In the heat race I tangled with someone and destroyed my radiator causing me to DNF.  This sent me to the last chance qualifier.  In the LCQ, I had to line up last, which left my gate selection on the way outside.  I got a decent start and would have qualified no problem, but a guy in front of me cased a jump and turned left right into my line.  I jumped into him and crashed.  I am still really mad about what happen, but not at anyone else just at myself.  I can't believe that I didn't even make the main.  I am fired up and looking forward to kicking some butt in Pontiac.

See you at the races.
